SMB
CRM that runs without a full-time admin
Configured for the team you have, not the operations department you don’t.
What’s different here
In an SMB the person who administers Salesforce also does another job. Every design decision has to account for that: fewer objects, fewer profiles, automation that fails loudly rather than silently, and documentation written for someone who’ll read it once a quarter.
Growth here is usually lumpy. A business that doubles headcount in a year needs a model that absorbs new roles without redesign — which mostly means getting the sharing model and record ownership right the first time.
Budget realism matters too. We sequence work so each phase pays for the next, and we’re explicit about what can wait.
Where CRM usually breaks
- Admin-by-availability — changes made in a rush with no test, no rollback.
- Profile sprawl — six profiles for eleven people.
- Reports nobody trusts — because two teams count “won” differently.
- Integration by CSV — a weekly export that someone forgets in August.
- No process for the process — no one owns prioritisation, so the loudest request wins.
What we build
Simplified object and permission model · Automation with fault alerts · Standard report pack agreed by both sales and finance · Replacement of manual exports with real integrations · A one-page change process · Quarterly health review
Common questions
Do we need managed services?
Often a small monthly retainer beats hiring, but not always. We’ll model both.
How do we stop the org getting messy again?
A short standard plus a quarterly review catches almost all of it.
