CPQ
Quotes in hours, discounting under control
Product rules that prevent impossible configurations, pricing that reflects your real commercial policy, and approvals that route in minutes.
Quoting slows down for two reasons: reps have to ask someone whether a configuration is allowed, and someone has to check whether a discount is permitted. Both are decisions that already have rules — the rules just live in people’s heads and a pricing PDF.
CPQ works when those rules are made explicit. We spend the early phase extracting them from your commercial team, including the exceptions they’ll swear don’t exist, and encode them as product, pricing and approval rules. The result is a rep who can quote unaided in most cases, and an approver who only sees genuine exceptions.
What you get
- Configuration rules that stop invalid bundles before they reach an approver.
- Pricing that handles tiers, volume, contracted rates and multi-currency without spreadsheets.
- Approval routing by margin, discount and term — measured in minutes, not days.
- Branded, accurate quote documents generated from the record.
- Renewals and amendments modelled properly, including co-terming and proration.
- A clean handoff to billing and finance, with revenue data that reconciles.

Common questions
How long does a CPQ implementation take?
Typically 10–18 weeks. The catalogue and pricing rules drive the timeline far more than the technical build.
Our pricing is genuinely complicated. Will it fit?
Almost always, once it’s written down. The hard part is agreeing the exceptions, which is a commercial conversation we facilitate rather than a technical one.
Do we need CPQ or will products and price books do?
If your reps quote standard items with simple discounting, standard functionality may be enough — and we’ll say so before you buy licences.
What about Revenue Cloud?
We’ll assess fit against your roadmap, licence position and migration cost, and give you a written recommendation either way.
